Int. to Sr. Piping Designer
Seeking motivated self-starters and team contributors, with 4-8 years’ progressive engineering experience within an EPCM / industrial plant environment, to join our team. Successful candidates are committed to delivering fit-for-purpose approaches and designs for our Clients with a demonstrated willingness to learn and excel in a flexible fast-paced environment.
Employment Term: successful candidate will be hired on a casual basis with an expected duration of 3-6 months to complete work from our Sarnia office with an opportunity to extend to full time employment.
Design Software Required: high level of proficiency with AutoCAD Plant 3D design software essential for this opportunity.
Responsibilities- Prepare key deliverables (P&ID’s, PFD’s, Plot Plans, Isometrics, 3D Models, etc.) throughout project cycle (Scoping, FEED, Detailed Design).
- Effective interface between engineering disciplines and project engineers.
- Work with engineers and designers to learn, understand and ensure technical integrity and designs in accordance with Company, regulatory and Client standards / specifications.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D and the use of laser scan point cloud files.
- Ensure conformance to established standards throughout project stages .

- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficiency with MS Office suite of products; Outlook, Word, Excel.

- Anticipating change and developing growth plans.
Required - Engineering Design and Drafting/ Process Piping Design certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution.
